YES INDEED! Boats and Marine Services — That IS What We Do!
We can rent you a boat, sell you a boat, or fix the one you have.
We’ve got Duffy Electric Launches, Boston Whalers, sailboats, Stabicraft runabouts, fishing boats, and a 30′ Cruise-A-Home. And check out our newest addition — the Sea Ray Sundancer 250!
We are an ASA Sailing School, and an RPA Powerboating School.
Our goal is to get you out on the water, safely.
Want to rent a kayak for an hour or a day? Hobie kayak rentals: single, tandem, sailing trimaran, pedal, sail, or electric drive.
Also, our naturalist-led kayak trip to Turn Island State Park is a great family activity for a group!
Looking to buy a boat? Check out our brokerage listings. And read all about “Sonata” — a perfect cruiser/live-aboard you’ve got to see to believe!

Enjoy your favorite beverage and relax aboard one of our Duffy electric boats while learning about Friday Harbor’s past in our one-of-a kind B.Y.O.B. Happy Hour Historical Harbor Cruise!
Try our Hobie Pedal Kayaks!
They’re great for people of all ages, from 4 yrs old-80+, they are comfortable, stable, fast, fun, and inexpensive. The revolutionary Mirage pedal drives mean anyone can kayak. The Hobies are so stable, you have to experience them to believe it! Pick a 1, 2 or 4 hour self-guided route or take a guided picnic trip to Turn Island State Park. With paddle, pedal, sail, and even electric drives, anyone can kayak in a Hobie.
If you can drive a car, you can drive a Duffy.
Duffy Electric Launches carry 6-12 people in quiet luxury, with cushioned settees surrounding a dining table. Bring-your-own appetizers and beverages to enjoy while you silently cruise around the harbor. With a full enclosure, the Duffy is safe for family groups, and the windows can be raised or lowered, depending on the weather.
Boston Whalers, the classic Northwest skiff.
Our small Whalers are powered by 4 cycle outboards, carry up to 4 persons, and are great for visiting Turn Island State Park, Shaw Island Park, or Fisherman’s Bay on Lopez Island.
The Catalina 25 and the San Juan 28 are great boats for learning how to sail. They are used in our ASA sailing school, and available as a rentals for a daysail, or can accommodate 2-4 for an overnight or multi-day charter. An easy-to-handle sail plan and motors mean you’ll get where you want to go.
Stabicraft Aluminum Chambered Runabouts
Built for ocean use in New Zealand, our Stabis are great for circumnavigating San Juan Island, doing your own whale watch trip, or visiting other islands. Fast, and safe, they can carry 4-6 adults in comfort. The canvas tops give great protection from the breeze, and may be opened up for soaking in the sun. Our low hour 4 cycle motors are quiet, economical and fast. GPS chartplotters make sure you know where you are while cruising among the islands.
Cruise A Home – Northwest Retro Boating
Cruise A Homes look like houseboats, but are built on very seaworthy fishing boat hulls. Over 500 Cruise A Homes were built in Washington State in the 1970s, and were commonly cruised to Alaska and back. Our 30′ sleeps 4, has a huge flybridge, galley and head, and is an excellent day rental or overnight. Go crabbing, cook the crabs, have a crab feast, and sleep it off, all on the same boat. Our 30′ is a great daytripping party boat, and sleeps 4.
